I'm also growing my hair...

I used to dye it a lot, so I'm trying to quit the whole dying thing... After 3 months of "dying abstinence" my roots were light brown and the rest of the hair was toffee dark blonde... So I went to the local drugstore and bought a colour between those 2 and started making "nuances"(sorry I don't know the exact word in English) of that shade all over my natural and "artificial" hair. The result was great! A great sultry look with phenomenal glowing hair. The difference between the 2 shades is now gone for at least another 2 months...

I use a good shampoo for fine hair (Vichy...I don't know if they only sell it in Europe), a protective conditioner and twice a week a splited ends serum...

I only trim my hair every 3/4 months but every time I see a splited end I cut it with a regular pair of scissors

Good luck!
