So I Coloured My Hair...

Ok, so in the end I bit the bullet and got my hair coloured at a salon. I really didn't want to end up with crazy hair!

I really like the colour, it's a red in the "6" group if that makes any sense to you hair gurus! It's about 2 shades lighter than the colour it was originally. And best of all, it was a really good price! they only charged me $115.00, which is pretty good bearing in mind they stripped it a bit and then dyed it!

Because I didn't get out of the salon until 9pm, I couldn't get any good photos of it tonight... it didn't really show up against the flash. I thought you might want to see a before picture of just how dark it actually was though, and I'll post the new pics when I can get a good shot of it.

it kind of faded and the grow out looked really grey because the rest was such a definite colour...

but yeah, I quite liked it when I did 'pin up' style hair and makeup

(I think the eyemakeup is from a wetnwild palette that Shaundra - Stereoxgirl - sent me. I love it!)

red usually fades pretty quick i had level 6(rrv) red/red/ violet. you should wash ur hair with COLD water it makes it last a bit longer. i bet it looks pretty . . . is your hair natural black ? or was it coloured black ?
