i am getting a trim and i was considering the sideswept bangs look. my stylist says they would look good on me b/c i have a heart shaped face? i was curious if you girls that had them liked them. i remember my bangs were a pain in the a** when i was growing them out. are they high maintenience? do they get in your face all of the time? should i get them long enough to tuck behind my ears? i'll post a pic in a lil bit..i'm just too lazy right now.

I have sideswept, angled bangs.. They don't really get in my way. I guess I am just use to them, but for other people they might. If I don't want them in my face I just pull my hair back and bobby pin them. I don't really think they are high maintenance but thats just my opinion.

I love my side swept bangs! I've had them since last November! To me, they are very low matinence (sp?) and If I don't want them in my face, I take a cute sparkley bobby pin, and just pin them back.

I have a heart shaped face as well, and they really look good on me!

I think if you keep them on the long side it will be okay....that way you can pin them back or grow them out if you dislike them that much............I always keep in mind how much bangs drive me crazy....to try and resist the urge to chop them off.

I'd give it a try, like I said, maybe a little longer!!

I love that look! I say, do it!

The side-swept bangs are getting pretty popular. :) Go for it!

I have longer side-swept bangs, and have had this look for about 5 years now. It's hard for me to change. :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> The highest length reaches about just below my right eye. It's a very manageable style.

I think they're adorable. Very versatile, and if you don't feel like doing them one day, just pin them, tuck them, or wear em' back

plz

cuts for bangs? You can always keep them on the longer side... like cheek or jaw length. On long hair I think the easiest and workable style are layers with some angles around the face. Our Ultimate Style Thread sticky in the forum list has several layered pics

They are very nice to have, all I do everyday is straighten them because you do, it may look akward and weird.

I have ones just like nichole richies and i must say that was the best decision i have made towards my hair! I love them.

I, too, have sideswept bangs, but they are on the shorter side. Can anyone recommend a product to use to keep them off to the side instead of hanging straight down, without making the hair look greasy (I have somewhat fine hair).

thanks,

Cass

I had them. I didn't really like them on me. They were always poking me in my eye, lol. I'm the type of person that just likes to tuck my hair behind my ears to keep it out of my face though.
