ok, I've had the same haircut for at least 5 or 6 years now, I can't remember exactly how long I've had it this way but I've been trying to let it grow back out because I got it cut in the ugliest layers last year on my birthday I've ever seen in my life, now it just has a couple of split ends every once in a while and thats it, I did have blonde and red streaks put in it back when I was 16 and 18 I think and then I had my hair dyed back to my natural color to cover up the blonde streaks because they looked so crappy, and everybody's telling me I need to cut my hair and my hair color does not go with my skin tone at all, I have fair skin with a light tan to it but you can't see it unless you get right in front of me or something, there's a picture of me in my profile, should I dye it a different color or cut it? if so, what color should I dye it or what kind of haircut should I get? and my hairs like a light black and a dark brown color, I was going to dye it like an auburn color but my cousins got the same hair color and she'll accuse me of copying her if I dye it that color, I want something different, brown's too ordinary me, I may just get it cut and styled somehow

why don't you go to your favourite salon and ask their advice? having dyed your hair so many colours, you'll probably need a bit of expert help to ensure you get the colour you want.

I'm unable to see your profile pic since I'm at work, but I would say maybe go for a chestnut brown - just a hint of red? or maybe you could go for a super dark brown, like dark chocolate coloured? something really glossy and vibrant - I think darker colours look awesome in winter.

Take pics if you get it cut

I agree with Rosie. Your hair dresser will be the best judge of what cut will suit you so go in and ask.

I also agree about the colour, a chestnut or chocolate brown would look great and be more interesting than a normal brown.
