Sorry if this has been mentioned somewhere, but are the Benefit blushes (in the holiday tin) OOS? I should have bought one in the store, but they looked banged up.

Sadly, I think they may be done making them...on my FB feed today it popped up from Benefit that this weekend would be your last chance to find them in stores.  I'm assuming this means that they are out online and not restocking, sorry.  If you see one in store I would grab it, but yeah I can understand not wanting to spend money when something looks banged up!

I went to Sephora to exchange something and we all know what happened next...shopping! I found a low key item which is really pretty...The Bare Minerals Magic Act!! The blushes alone are gorgeous!! Anyone else get it?

I have this - love it!  I got it at Ulta. I posted a pic a while back where my whole face is just that palette.  I'm too tired to find the post but I think maybe in the enablers thread?? The only item on my face not part of the palette was a face brightener and mascara...but I'm with you - the blushes are gorgeous!  One of them I already had, I picked it out shopping at a bare minerals store.  I had to shop there as soon as I saw it - I had no idea about all these individual brand stores, like L'Occitane, Lush, Mac, etc.  I thought it was all drug store, department store, or Sephora/Ulta.  Sometimes I question how I got to be my age and am so totally unaware of some things.  Sheesh...I'm from a small town, but still from that place we call EARTH!  :w00t:

I finally broke down and purchased a benefit item - the blush palette in the tin!  Smells nice, but the colors do not show up on me.  NONE OF THEM.  I don't get it...I probably should have listened to my gut and just stayed away, now I have a gently used (as in one try per color) palette that I can't do anything with.  I will have to return it to Ulta...problem is it came with a promo and I'm not entirely sure what box the promo is in!  Nor am I sure I'll find it within the return time limit.  <_<

As for communication from Sephora, I used to get emails regularly, now the only emails I get (after complaining) are from SiJCP!  Those emails I had never gotten before.  For mailers, I now get them from Sephora and SiJCP, but until I complained about my email - I didn't even know they had actual paper mailings!  I'm very disappointed that I didn't get the email where my name would have been spelled out - I read a lot of folks thought it was cool and I would agree, I"m sure.  I'm just bummed I didn't get one.

Bummer! That makes me feel better about passing on it in the store. The only Benefit blush I have is Dandelion (deluxe sample), because people swear by it, but it looks like nothing on me, too (even over a tint). I hope you're able to do something with yours!

I heard those blushes arent the real color. I had Dallas In a palette years ago and it showed up nicely on my medium dark skin tone. The eyeshadows were buttery and pigmented and it was the only lipglosses I would use for a while. Even the blushes you may already own I would swatch on my hand when you are in a store next time.I have seen the palette in person and its on the light side just looking at it.

I went to redeem my free mirror today and they were OUT!  Eeek!  I just got the mailer on Friday!  

I carried around an item for about 10 minutes before remembering that it was on my Secret Santa list, lol.

I went to get my mirror yesterday and they hadn't received their shipment yet.  Usually when I go to pick up my freebie though they are already out though.

Oh! I remember that picture actually...lol. There are definitely so many stores out there and often different holiday exclusives at each one but it can be fun to discover. Plus, it can be nicer to find them when you are able to appreciate the items more. I have my big Sephora package arriving today so that should be fun. No more shopping until Black Friday (this only applies to Sephora, lol). I am really looking forward to playing with the set though...I haven't opened it yet.
