Well I decided just to grab some more little things for my nieces stockings, and get the eyemini again and call it good. I don't have anything left that I really want right now and I have a foundation I like, and another one that I'm getting from another brand...Plus, I counted my orders...and all told (not just Sephora, which is at 9) I have nearly 20 packages still coming on my no-buy and the UD Vault waiting for me...so I need to step away from the computer (well, online shopping anyway)!!  Seriously, is this because I'm new and just can't get over all the gorgeous makeup, or should I seek therapy???  J/K!!  If I break the bank I'll see a therapist! LOL!  For now, other than having a space issue, I love being able to change up my makeup every week!

Today I love my makeup and I'm wearing a $3 drug store bronzer/blush all over, and Boudoir Eyes for my eye shadow.  That's it, and I LOVE IT! LOL!

Wow.  Where did the bonus points come from?  I've never seen anything like that!!

my latest order is here! the viktor & rolf sample set is nice -- more impressed by the box than the contents inside. the shower gel/lotion etc are tiny! only 0.5 oz each. but i'm still pleased since the perfume is the main thing in the box anyway. will make a nice present for sure, which what i'm planning to use this for. also, that mini drybar brush is so cute!!!!!!!!!!! i took a picture of it beside the regular sized brush that i've had for a while.

Omg so many adorable minis!!! That mini brush is super cute! I love mini everything but I feel like my hair would probably eat the poor thing and spit a pile of splinters back out lol. It's a running joke between me and my friends that my hair is trying to take over the world - I regularly find bobby pins hidden in my hair and I've had to learn the hard way to braid it up tightly before eating, otherwise half my food ends up in my hair. (Let's not mention that time rice ended up on the TOP of my head during a date  :hehe: )

@@saku  How do you like the regular sized brush?  I've been on the fence about buying it.  My hair is thick and a couple spots are coarse and get tangles.  I was going to get it then after I read some of the reviews about it I was unsure.

i really like it!!!!!!!!!! A LOT! i have filipina hair. lol pretty thick, but straight (a little tiny bit wavy maybe) and not very tangly. i was on the fence about buying it too, since i've read that the bristles sink in the bristle bed thingy and you'd have to pull them out. but that has never happened on mine. i got mine on january, and it's still in perfect condition (aside from the lint that's so hard to remove). i would buy it over and over again. it's light and the texture of the plastic feels good on the hands. and i really love how it looks!

i know! so cute! here's another shot. lol i'm A LOT more excited about the brush (and the TSA approved clear bag that the set came with!) than the actual hair products. although the mini shampoo and conditioner are so freakin cute as well! hahaha

@@chelsealynn i should mention that this is the first 'proper' detangling brush that i've had. i've always used a wide-toothed comb (like the dollar store ones) to detangle my hair after shower. the drybar is so much better and easier on the hair.

Every not-very-often they do a bonus points promo where they give people bonus points for no reason (they just show up, as opposed to earning a bonus with a purchase), but they expire in a week. It's basically the same as a $3 coupon.

Thank you for your thoughts! I'm glad to hear you like it.  I was worried about how it would hold up over time but yours looks like its in great condition for being almost a year old.  I think I'll buy it next week with the 20% off. Yay!

Has anyone heard if they'll be removing or expiring the Bonus points earned during the promo?  I was hoping to hoard them until the next time they offered something really awesome for the 1000 and 5000 pt categories.

Definitely get it!  I bought 2 of them almost a year ago and they still look and perform like new.  My youngest has really thick, straight hair and it makes brushing it out so much easier.  I have fine, straight to slightly wavy hair that gets tangled a bit and this is the only brush that doesn't break my hair.  I highly recommend it.  As for the lint, the only way I've found that's easiest is to get a cheap toothbrush and brush it out.  It only take a minute or two and seems to get all of the lint.

good tip! i've been trying to pick the lint out with my fingers, and it takes so long that i just give up. haha

@@Kimb3rly Thanks for the review!  I ended up picking up the mini brush with the mini shampoo, conditioner, and dry shampoo.  I have no patience and I figured this would be a good way to try out a few different things.  I'll still probably grab the big brush next week once I play around with the mini.

yay! it's TOOOO CUTE, you'll love it!

Does anyone have any insight on shading? It keeps recommending Almond from that stupid ColorIQ thing but it looks too dark.
It looks dark in the bottles, but it isn't quite that dark on the skin.  For reference, I have this in full size, my shade is Beige Almond 30.  I LOVE this foundation SO much.

I have the regular yellow hairbrush size, not the mini, and I love it.  It is over a year old, and has never had any issues what so ever.  Not even any balls on the ends of the bristles have fallen off or melted with the hair dryer.

I have thin, baby fine, wavy hair that tangles like a rat's nest if you even look at it wrong, lol, but it'd work on any hair.  I like that this regular size brush is a tad smaller than the big honkin' drugstore kinds these days, but not so small that it'd take forever to use.

In fact, I didn't even know there was a mini...I might have to pick this up for my purse!  I've been using an older mini Sonia Kashuk brush that is getting a little scratchy on my scalp.

Another tip to clean out the brush, is to take a comb, and run it between the bristles, then just pull off the hair.  It usually takes most of the lint out with the hair when you pull it out.
