If you have a lot of points, but clinique has really great GWP promotions those items are almost always included. The black honey is a freebie with purchase on the site the last time I checked. 

I just feel like the 500 point perks should be better overall - higher end brands, better sizes, etc  - I spent $500 to get those 500 points!

I agree, you can get 5 Lancome Energie De Vie for the same outlay of points.  Last year I hoarded my points for all the high value items and included them as part of a Christmas box.

My 29384732th Sephora order in the past 2 months is supposed to arrive Thursday, I'm so excited! And relieved that it's Thursday since I'll be home early enough to grab the box and hide it from my family haha.

Agreed, I actually just got a GWP at a Clinique counter in Nordstrom (for a $30 purchase but they gave me one even though I was only at $27), the bag is super cute! I'd definitely pick spending another $30 there and getting another bag than using 500 points on that perk. The bag had 7 items in it - CC Cream (choose your shade), an eyeshadow+blush trio (Starlight, Starbright, and Fig), a dual ended mascara+lip gloss in Bonfire, a full sized lipstick in All Heart, a nail polish in Happy, and little pots of eye cream and a little pot of moisture surge intense cream. I can post a picture later if any of you ladies want to see it.

Hi ladies,

I am working Over Time at my job b/c it is our busy season but since I am salary, I do not get OT pay, I get gift cards.  The employee g/c program we have includes g/c to Sephora (YaY).  So the planner I am, I am trying to put an order or two together.  But I need some help.

Brushes - do you use them from Sephora and if so which ones do you use?  Right now I only have ELF brushes and they are actually pretty good for the money (the black handled ones not the white handled ones) but I want some fancy dancy ones especially since it's not really coming out of my pocket. 

IDK how much in g/c I will have but if I plan now, I will know if I can go spend them right away or wait until I've collected them all.

This could not have come at a better time, I think I will make it to VIB by the end of the year and correct me if I am wrong, I will be VIB until next December or is it a year from when I became VIB?

Please help.

Do it manually, call them and have them put in the codes, free samples and free shipment over the phone.   

They were really great when I first made VIB and my system didn't update for a few days.  Of course I was itching to buy, so I couldn't possbily that THAT get in the way /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />...

I ordered the holiday light show brushes sephora has on the website right now. Haven't received them yet, so I can't personally comment on the quality, but they have really good reviews and look so pretty. I've also used some of the single brushes sephora has, and they're pretty good quality. If you make VIB, you will be VIB till December 2014.

I use their #20 Pro Brow brush. I have purchased (and returned) several Sephora Collection brushes that weren't very good. I've had makeup applied with their Pro brushes in store and I thought they felt very nice. I would buy the #55 or #56 if I used foundation enough. I think their Pro brushes are good but Collection brushes stink.
