facials are great! a basic one would be, cleanse the skin, then analyze it, then they give you a deep cleanse, exfoliate, tone, steam, mask moisturise oh and you get a 20minute massage. there are loads of types of facials you should go to the salon and get a booklet of all the types they do.

they do one where they use these metal rollers (forgot he name of it) but they help the skin u have now say oil to go to norml skin as much as it can. but u need to have a few of these to get the results.

dont be scared if u get a spot after, it just all the dead skin and dirt coming to the surface and after awhile that stops happening and you have great fresh skin.

have you ever thought about going to a college before? they should be all trained and passed by now. if you do go there only like £5 but ask about the products first. some colleges are good, one college i was training at used dermalogica but the other college i went to used a really cheapy product that ruined my face.

If you're looking for dramatic results try a peel or microdermabrasion. Otherwise just a regular facial prob won't do too much, except burn a hole in your wallet

I would check with the colleges too. The one that I am going to starting in September uses Dermalogica and the price is $10.00. So you can afford to go once a week. I have been going twice a month and I see a huge difference in my skin.

I've always wanted a facial. I think I can benefit from one since I have oily skin and my pores have become bigger larger since I've gotten older.

Facials rock!:rocknroll2:

You get to be:icon_queen: and feel the :icon_love. and it's all good!

I get mine twice a year, because they cost a bit..but they are really worth it.

The college is a great idea!

I think extraction refers to when they extract your blackheads.

I think that's what lglala meant.

Every facialist does it differently. I've had some do it with their gloved fingers..

others with instruments.

go to a beauty school perhaps?

i have an aveda one a short train ride from my house and the girl that i go to is fantastic (she's graduating soon though :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> )--plus the cost is about 1/2 that of a regular salon. i dont worry too much about them messing something up as there are instructors watching their every move lol.

hair on the other hand at a beauty school......:eusa_wall: at least imo.

i just scheduled an appointment for a facial plus mircroderm for next week! can't wait! i need the relaxation! :inlove:
