Question!

I found a bottle of Clean & Clear Essentials Deep Cleaning Astringent. Would it be ok to use this with my Dermalogica (oily/normal)? If so, when do I put it on?

I break out once in a while so I think I'd only use it on the break outs..

You would use an astringent right after you cleanse your skin. If it has alcohol in it (check the back ingredients), then I would suggest using it only on your acne spots to dry them out. If it is used just as an astringent without alcohol then you would take a cotton ball after cleansing (and exfoliating if you do it that day) and then wipe it around your face. If it is a spray then you just wouldn't use a cotton ball, but you would still apply it after cleansing/exfoliation. But again, if it is a spray and has alcohol in it then you should use a cotton ball to apply it only to active acne.

It says alcohol is an INACTIVE INGREDIENT.

Would I use it before or after moisturizer?

Before, an astringent is basically used to remove any excess make up, oil, or dirt left on the skin. Since you want your moisturizer to go deep into your skin you want to make sure left over dead skin cells have been removed, so you will always use it before your moisturizer.
