I want to know that if this is the right way to straight hair:

1) Shampoo hair

2) Apply straightening cream on damp hair and comb straight

3) Then blow dry the hair

4) And use the flat iron.

There isnt one specific way to straighten, what you're describing should work.

That should work but you don't necessarily have to use straightening cream, just use the flat iron on clean or dirty hair.

Sounds right, read your bottle of cream, it should say apply to damp or dry hair.

If you have good straightening irons, such as GHDs, you shouldnt need a straightening cream as well, you may be better off using a heat protection spray or cream before using the hot irons. Do the hair in sections if possible, for the best result.

I have always done what you just said. At lest it worked for me

That's one method, if it works for you, stick with it! I would also add a heat protecting spray to the mix, it will do your hair the world of good.

I think your 4 step process is fine.

One additional step I do is apply some serum to my hair after i have flattened it.

Put a drop of serum in your palms, smoosh between palms until both palms are nicely coated.

Then rub your palms in your hair. Brush or comb hair into a style.

I find this makes my hair look quite shiny and helps to keep my hair from becoming poufy after all the hard work of blow drying and flat ironing.
