I do know when its all shiny and red its really red and aggravated. Try using a hot towel hold it on there for 10 minutes or until the towel gets cold. then if you must pop it make sure your hands are clean. But I would say don't pop it, wait it out, I know it hurts, put neosporin on it and leave it be.....
