QVC had Philosophy products on their show yesterday. I ordered the gingerbread man, ice cream man and milk man shower gels for only $35. And they were full sized products.

I'm still hunting down samples & smaller sizes of the scents I want to try; and I've decided to fix up a gift basket or tin of the duplicates to give my SIL for Christmas. Is that bad....giving my "cast-offs" as a gift? I don't know, it makes me feel cheap or something. But, such is my mania, my desire, for Philosophy shower gels....

i've used cinnamon buns (that one is my favorite!) Pumpkin pie is ok..it's a little too spicy rather than sweet for me. My sister's favorite is "Be A Peach."

I received my Pumpkin Pie and I really like it. It is a spicy scent since it smells exactly like the spices in pumpkin pie.

I also received a sample of Candy Cane. That was okay. It doesn't smell like a candy cane to me. It is a stronger mint smell. It doesn't have the sweetness of a candy cane.

I also tried Pure Grace. I don't like that one. To me, it doesn't smell like "soap and water" like they claim. It was too strong for me. Amazing Grace is the only state of grace scent that I like.

I've tried quite a couple of their scents...though I must admit I have an issue with Philosophy in that their 3-IN-1's aren't long lasting outside of the shower at all

I've tried the following:

Mimosa

Pumpkin Pie

Strawberry Milkshake

Raspberry Sorbet

Banana Nut Bread

Vanilla Birthday Cake

Waffle Cone

Sugar Plum Fairy

There are others but I cannot recall right now...I'll add when I remember

.

I didn't like Strawberry Milkshake - big disappointment. Smelled like fake strawberry-scented plastic. One review I read on ePinions compared it to strawberry-flavored medicine, which is pretty dead-on accurate.

Amazing Grace, Baby Grace and Pure Grace smell just like the spray fragrances. This weekend I'm going to try Pumpkin Pie (in honor of U.S. Thanksgiving this past Thursday).

I really want to try it, but I know I wouldn't use it as a shampoo, and I don't have a tub so I couldn't take bubblebaths, so for me it wouldn't really be a 3 in 1 product! They all smell so good in the store, I may just get one and use it as a body wash. For those of you who use it - is the scent strong? Like do you still smell like it afterwards, and would it interfere with your perfume?

Except for the perfumed shower gels - Amazing Grace, Baby Grace, Pure Grace, Falling in Love, and Philosophy the Fragrance. Those are designed to last so that you can layer your lotion & spray on top and smell good all day long. But the Willpower Shower gels, Happy Hour, Party Collection, Holiday Collection, charity donation shower gels, and other bestsellers are indeed designed NOT to last, so that you can use your regular perfumes on top and not have flowers battling with gingerbread (or any other vile combination you can imagine!)
By the way, I loved Pumpkin Pie; but I love Cinnamon Buns even more (which my Secret Santa susansk1 sent me because it's her favorite!) Yummmm, smells good enough to eat!

We don't have any over here!

Oh i would love to try them!

i should say i don't have any near me. lol

I love these shower gels. My fav is the Pina Colada (they sell it on the philosophy site). I also like the Mimosa, Ginger Bread Man, Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream, Banana, Cinnamon Buns, Pumpkin Pie & Frozen Lemon Custard.

The Amazing Grace smells great. I have the Amazing Grace Body Firming Emulsion. The Falling in Love smells great too.

How about a swap? I have some 1 oz. bottles that I can pour some shower gels into and swap for same amount of some different fragrances that others might have. Reply here or PM me if you're interested in swapping bottle for bottle (I bought the 1 oz. bottles on eBay, but you might be able to find them in a pharmacy or someplace similar). Let me know which fragrance(s) you have and which ones you want. I have:

Cinnamon Buns

Gingerbread Man

Amazing Grace

(will be getting for Christmas)

Old-Fashioned Egg Nog

Powdered Sugar Cookie

Most of these I only have 4 or 6 oz. so I won't be able to swap with very many people; I do have 16 oz. of Cinnamon Buns & Egg Nog.

I'd like to sample:

Raspberry Sorbet

Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

Cafe Au Lait

White Chocolate Hazelnut Cake

Key Lime Pie

Sugar Plum Fairy

any of the charity gels

I liked Double Rick Hot Cocoa, bit it's not something I'd buy in a full-size bottle. I knew my friend would like it, but I can't afford the Philosophy (I've already over-spent my Christmas budget) so I bought her some Hot Cocoa from Bath & Body Works Temptations line. It's not as good, but it's the best of the Temptations that I smelled. The others, especially Cinnamon Bun Heaven, were NOT NEARLY as good as Philosophy. Pecan Pie was better than the others (that were obviously Philosophy copycats, since they're in the same size and shape bottle and marketed as 3-in-1 products). But my friend will love the Hot Cocoa (she's trying to lose weight and has decided to give up her favorite thing - chocolate - for the entire 2007 year, poor dear).

Anybody else try the Temptations from B&BW? Compare to Philosophy? What is your assessment?

I have one in lemon custard, which is absolutely yummy! It smells like July, and summer, and grass, and...well lemon custard is really all it smells like, lol. But im not really sure why everyolne else didn't like it. I think it is absolutely delish

To each her own i guess!!

My hubby got me Old-Fashioned Egg Nog for Christmas yesterday. Mmmm, so yummy! If you like egg nog (and I do....I gain 10 pounds every December because of it) then you will die for this Philosophy shower gel. I think it's my favorite, with Cinnamon Buns running a close second.

It came with a free 4 oz. bottle of Powdered Sugar Cookie. I opened the bottle to sniff it, but didn't use it yet; what I smelled did NOT smell like cookies. It had a very lemon smell. Anybody use this scent before? Care to comment?

And we got his mother some Vanilla Creme Puff and his sister Peppermint Cheesecake and I brought home a small sample of each. Can't wait to try those, either!

Agreed on the Powdered Sugar Cookie. It is a lemony scent. Philosophy.com says its a sugar cookie scent with a hint of lemon zest, but it's more like a lemon zest scent with no hint of sugar cookie. I still like it, however, as I like lemony scents.

Philosophy has two new scents on Sephora. Red Velvet Cake and Buttercream Frosting!
