Has anyone ever gotten a mini facial from the origins counter at a department store? I know there will be a sales push... is it worth it? What is the etiquette regarding how much to buy? Can I just buy one thing? HELP! I don't know whether to go or cancel, I don't want to spend tons of money on products because I have so many skin care samples from birch box right now that I'm trying to use up, but I wouldn't mind buying one or two products.

I went, got a facial, then the girl tried to push me to buy stuff. I kindly asked her to make me a few samples of the products she used instead, because I want to try them for a few days to make sure I don't get a reaction. Hope that helps :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I just went today... it was NOT worth it. There's no sink at the Origin's counter in Macy's so they give you a mini facial by wiping off the products with tissues and it does not feel clean. It was a huge sales pitch and the woman was feeding me wrong information- I did my research on the brand and paulaschoice.com before going- I was definitely pressured to buy something so I walked out with a lip treatment that was $15.

dont ever feel pressured to buy something. Its your money. I prefer getting the mini facials in the stand alone Origins stores instead of in Macy's because its more private. I highly recommend Origins cleansers and exfoliater. Its one of the best ive used. They also sell mini versions or travel versions of lots of their products so you do not need to get the full size. They are pretty great at giving samples too.
