Okay I am about to dye my hair to medium netural brown (revolon).

The question is: some parts of my hair (middle) it is reddish shade and the top is dark brown. Should I just dye it dark brown to get it all the same color? Am I suppose to use Ash? I heard Dark Brown will make your hair really dark (ex:black) and even more reddish.

I rather have it one even color and not reddish tone. And dye it medium brown after three-four months. I am cutting 6-7 inches off.

Not sure, but last time I dyed my hair dark brown my hair turned out black!

I agree- dark brown = black!!!! BUT it does fade after a few weeks. I notice the color change after 8-10 washes.
