Yep- it's the aluminum; it's why you aren't supposed to cook in aluminum pots, too.

Some anti-perspirants and deoderants don't use it though. I think I read Adidas doesn't use aluminum. I've never used it, so I don't know.

Also that stupid crystal deoderant, lol!! I have tried it and my underarms were sticky and wet by the end of the day!

Hey! I used use secret...now use dove, never have problem...smell sweett all day...

I think I naturally sweat more than the average female but, I use Degree and it works great for me... so, no probs :satisfied:

I sweat, therefore I don't play around with deodorant. For about 3 months I've been using Jason Pure, Natural & Organic Deodorant. I used to be a big Degree fan but noticed that I really had to scrub to remove it. It contains no: alcohol or aluminum chlorohydrate, mineral oil, petrolatum or waxes, animal by products, synthetic frangrances and is made from minerals with tea tree oil and lavender oil added for scent. Also, no pesticides are used in manufacturing. Works as well as the Degree.

My fav used to be Arrid X Dry until they changed the formulation. It truly was one of the few that lasted. Degree is my second choice but as someone mentioned they mave have changed it as well. I typically use men's because women's does not seem to work as well for me.

I've been using Dove and it seems to be working well. I also like that my pits are usually dry and rashy like from shaving and Dove has moisturizers. I also like any kind of Secret. I love the scents of Ban, although I've never actually tried them so I couldn't say if they're good or not. I'm satisfied with my Dove for now though, I smell good and stay dry. ahh arm pit bliss. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Ban original formula unscented is guaranteed to keep you dry and smelling good. Basically, if you read the label and see that aluminum chlorohydrate is an ingredient, you will stay dry. Also, the aluminum/Alzheimer's hasn't been proven, so I'd rather keep my clothes dry and unstained, and keep myself from bad.

I don't really sweat that much, so I hardly use deodorant. Mostly I just spray some cologne under my arms.
