NYX representative

I was looking at NYX website to see how I could become a rep. and it showed "You must be an actively working (hired and monetarily compensated) makeup artist and/or have your cosmetology license" to apply. Is this true? Beacause I don't have a license nor am I actively working. Please let me know because I would love to be one of their sale rep.
