Nyx Or Mac

I find that NYX has a "wilder" colour range. I have a few shadows from them and never touch them becasue they are too bright for me. MAC however, I like a lot..because they have a great selection of neutral shades too.

So..it's MAC for me...

i say buy pigment u would wear all the time from mac. then buy colors you don't use as much from nyx.

I believe they were referring to buying NYX from CherryCulture.Com. That is where the loose eyeshadows are $.99.

buy the colors that look similar from NYX, and whatever you have to get from MAC, buy it.

Mac has more color choices, But like others have said you can find NYX piggies for a dollar each. I have every pigment they make

and I love them. I think its way more worth it to buy NYX

I love the jumbo pencils from NYX but I have to say they are not as good as MAC shadesticks because the NYX is very creamy which = little staying power on me. Even when I use them with UDPP.

Masad did you ever get your NYX loose piggies? Or your MAC bronzer ? I have all 24 colors of the NYX piggies and I have MAC mellow rave from the Balloonacy collection I'd give you 1/2 full NYX piggies and the Mellow Rave is used but barely it still has all the markings of the balloonacy collection. I'll do a trade with you if you are interested.

I'm a glitter chick and i like anything glittery and has a lot of sheen in it...

I just received my NYX Ultra Pearl Mania. They're great! I ordered all of the colors, at .99, it was a steel.

I can tell you that if you choose NYX, DON'T get their trios. Apparently, their trios lack the pigmentation of their single shades. The reasoning for this baffles me. I purchased three of the NYX trios to be HIGHLY disappointed with pigmentation. Not only would the color REFUSE to show up on my skin (pale rosy ivory complexion, mind you), but after struggling to get a color to show, it would wear off within an hour, and that is WITH UDPP.

However, everyone has told me that NYX singles e/s and the NYX pigments are MUCH better. Apparently others agree that the pigmentation in the trios, for whatever reason, are quite lacking compared to the single shadows.

Like most are saying here, I would try NYX single shades and the pigments as well, and if worse comes to worse and you decide you don't like NYX (which I haven't heard any bad reviews on the single e/s sets) then you've only burned what? $5? And then you know for the future to get MAC, MUFE, or something along those lines.

I had bought a NYX trio a little way back and was not that happy with the pigments. I went to ulta yesterday and again bought another Trio and again was not happy.

However, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE NYX Pearl mania pigments (thanks to me SS).

I too also have some NYX single eyeshadows and their pigments are MUCH better then the trios. wierd!!!

I have never tried MAC Pigments but that is a bit pricey for me so thank goodness for NYX Pigments.

well let it depend on ur money issues at the time. if u need that extra cash, buy some NYX. if u got paid n u feel like u deserve to be spoiled, buy ur MAC
