I know enough from biology in college that you should not be plucking or waxing nose hair. It is there for a very good purpose. However - trimming those unruly ones will not hurt. Thankfully I have yet to see one that needs much grooming attention in my nose.
umm, i dont do anything to my nose hair because its not visible unless you look up my nose. i think mostly men have the hanging out nose hair problem, and then, i do believe, they should be trimmed.
My nose hair doesn't really stick out, but since my hair is so dark and my nose is slightly upturned (making my nostrils visible at all times), I use one of those "personal touch shavers" or whatever they are called. Basically, the ones shaped like a pen with the little electric razor at the tip. I stick it in, swirl it around, and I'm done. Haha...that sounded gross. But you asked. I just started doing this a couple months ago.
It's true. The area is the entrance of air of your body , and it is a protective structure. Also, imagine if one of the follicles get infected from being removed - the pain wouldn't not be any good
I'm very lucky in the hair department. No uncontrollable nose hairs, light arm hair, normal leg hair, nice hair hair, no hair in extremely unusual places. I'm thanking my lucky stars right now!
I've had some nose hair since I was about 11 yrs old.Took after my late dad. He used little scissors on his & taught me to do the same. Then I got one of those little trimmers that you twist back & forth. Now I use a battery operated trimmer. Wouldn't DARE have a wax to pull it out. It hurts like Hell. If I'm out of eyedrops & need to rewet my contacts, I'll pull a nose hair.Makes my eyes water !!
Yes, we all have those hairs. I too use little scissors or those teeny tiny shaving razors by Noxema. I hate that sometimes when I forget to pay attention they grew more than I would've liked...YIKES!! LOL!!! Honesty aaaahhhh what a great quality-but when does it become a little too much info?
I'm a big fan of plucking...pretty much all the hair on my face, except for my head, is thick and dark. sometimes i find that i get ingrown hairs in my nose. does that happen to anyone else?
I sometimes use a "Simply Basic" hair trimmer. They're sold at WalMart. The picture on the package shows a woman trimming her brow, upper lip or bikini line. It does a very good job.:11a:
It all started with me trying to pluck my boyfriend's facial hair (lol as punishment for letting get spikey and graze my sensitive skin, yes we're weird) and some how it turned in to plucking my nose hair.
I was very painful and I don't need to do it as I'm generally not a very hairy woman so my nose hairs don't show!
