Is there any information that is a good use for the NJ State Board Written Exam? I have to schedule a retake and I want to study from the best guides out there. I don't feel as if my school supplied the best possible study guide. Any help is great. Also, does anyone know if its better to take the exam in Philly or Hamilton? I've been to Philly already and I'm not sure if I should change testing locations? If that would even help at all. Please help!!!!! Thank You.

I'm not from Jersey so I have no idea what your state tests on however most states written exams are based off of Milady's Standard Cosmetology. If I were you I'd call them up on Monday and find out for sure and if they are then get the Milady Exam Review. Did you take the practical and written or just written so far? As far as which location is better, again I don't know but in my state it doesn't matter where the written or practical is taken because it's a state exam and is issued pretty much the same way (obviously it's like a SAT exam where there are several variations to the same test).
