My wife would love to do something different with her hair than she currently is. While a salon is a good idea, it isn't realistic to go the salon very often (four little kids, tight budget, etc). Can anybody point me to some good learning information on hair? Kind of like the tutorial section for makeup but for hair instead? Are there any DVDs, books, magazines, that you all could recommend? Also wondering if there are any good software programs for uploading your picture and then put different hairstyles on it? Thanks in advance.

That's a good question... What kind of hair does she have? Maybe a pic would help, cuz different hair requires different maintenance and styling...

You can try a website like the Virtual styler..you can upload a pic and change the hair/make up.....other then that, as reesesilverstar suggested, a picture would be useful.
