New hair cut - styling questions

I got my hair cut today, in lots of layers, and I love it. But I know come tomorrow, when I try to style it, I'm not going to be as happy. I love how it flips up, but it doesn't do that naturally. It's very stubborn and wants to lay the way it always has. What suggestions do you have to help me continue to style my hair this way?

That's a cute cut! You could try flipping it with a round brush and the blow dryer, or the curling iron... My friend has a similar cut, and since her hair is naturally wavy, she can also scrunch her hair after washing it to have a cute wavy-layered look too

i would ask the hair stylist what steps he/she took to style the hair
