I need a rec for a good paddle brush that I can get from a d/s or sally's. My stylist said to try to get one that has metal so it will help with heat. She used one to blow dry my hair straight and she said I really need one. any help appreciated!

I think your best bet would be to go into Sallys and talk with a staff member there, they'd be able to assess your hair type and hair styling needs and suggest an appropriate brush that will suit you.

I have 2 paddle brushes, one is plasticy and one has metal combs.. I personally prefer the plastic one, it's more gentle on my hair.

I picked up a Goody's brush today that is ceramic. I think it's called professional. I plan to try it out tomorrow.

Tell us how it goes !

My mom has a thin round brush she uses when blowdrying her hair, but when i tried to use it i found out the metal wasn't very gentle with my hair, so be careful with metal.
