Have any of you tried or currently use a natural deodorant? It's not something I've ever really been interested in but while perusing the LUSH website, I found their aromaco deodorant and starting reading about natural deodorants and how much better it is for your skin. Anyone have any good/bad experiences w/natural deodorants? Are they strong enough?

I am allergic to antiperspirants so I'm pretty much stuck with natural deodorants. I have been searching for years and I still haven't found one that lasts all day for me. Jason Naturals and GeoDeo are the 2 worst that I've tried. The one that has worked the best is Lavanilla, but I still have to reapply it in the afternoon or after a workout. I have made my own which works pretty good - equal parts coconut oil, baking soda, and corn starch (1/4 c of each and poured into a clean deodorant container. Keep it in the fridge as it's super soft). I want to try adding essential oils and play with it a bit more and it may become the only one I use.

I like the idea of a natural deordorant but I've never found one that worked well enough for me to make the switch. Geodeo did not work for me. Erbaviva did work fairly well but the scent was too strong for me. Let us know if you find one that works well (don't have to reapply several times a day).

I've tried so many and most won't last past noon on me. Reapplying in the middle of the day is annoying. I finally found that Crystal Essence Spray in chamomille and green tree lasts on me all day even through workouts. It doesn't keep me dry since it's natural but it keeps odor away. I highly recommend it.

Thanks to everyone for your input. All the reviews I've read state the same thing that they can't find one that lasts all day. I don't want to have to remember to reapply during the day or worry about smelling.

I might try the lush one just to see how it works on me but based on everything I've read, I might have to just stick w/my Secret deodorant for now.
