My Soon-To-Be Haircut

I'm getting my haircut soon, and I just wanted your comments on this style. I have had long hair for about 7 years, and am ready for a drastic change. Below are now pictures and a picture of the hairstyle I want.

This is definitely the style I'm going to go with, but I might wait until March or so to do it, because of the cold weather. My hair keeps me warm.

Although, I guess I'll have to get used to it anyway for next winter!!

Wow, that is a drastic change! (I also used to have long hair but I took it slowly and never cut more than 6 inches off at once, lol) You do have a cute face that should look good with short hair, though! At one point my hair was just a little longer than your picture, but with my square face and glasses, I looked like a 12-year-old boy

Although I did enjoy the feeling of not having long hair on the back of my neck!

HOLY CRAP!! That is really short!! But I think the style will probably look great on you!! I think especially the side swept bangs will look amazing! The shots I have seen of you with the pieces you already have swept to the side REALLY suit your face!

Are you keeping it the same color or are you going to change that too?

Thats a real cute haircut. If i were you..i'd gradually cut my hair little by little to finalyl reach that haircut. When i had cut my hair short (I mean SHORT!) couple years ago..i didnt do it all of a sudden. I cut it little by little just so i could have different styles in between. I gradually reached it shrot enoguh to finaly cut it the way i had wanted. That way i can have many styles and cuts.

But it sems to me that you've thought about it already for quite some time. I say go for it. You only live once and hair grows,right?I think your face can really be front and center with a cut like that. You'll look feirce if you feel that way!!

Your face shape is perfect for a short cut & the sideswept bangs... I don't know about that bright of a color on your skin tone, but the cut is nice!!

I'm going to get it colored. I used to have huge blonde chunks in my hair when it was long. I dyed it back to my natural color when I had my son. Now, I miss the blonde, so I was thinking of dying the long part in the front blonde, and leaving the back dark. That way I can put different colors over the blonde as it suits my mood.

And like I said, my hair grows super fast, so if I don't like it, I can grow it back. But I'm pretty confident I'll like it. I wear my hair up all the time anyway now. I want my hair to look like it does when I wear it up, except a little shorter in the back so I can spike it.

Although I have to say, it seemed as if people either liked it or didn't. But I did, and that's all that matters!!! And I'll probably leave it my natural color for a little while before I dye it.

Fierce is what I want I guess. Like I said, I want a hairstyle to fit my personality. And yes, my hair will grow back!! Besides, I'm donating my hair to "Locks of Love", so it's for a good cause!!!
