please someone have something i can do

Okay, simple suggestions:

If you have sensitive skin, or are allergic to Benzoyl Peroxide, the Salicylic Acid product will help you. You can go to any store and purchase Neutrogena Anti-Acne Gel, Stridex pads, and the Oxy medicated lotion. If you do more searching, there is many in the sore. If you have sensitive skin, but want to use Benzoyl Peroxide, or do not have sensitive skin at all the best products I can recommend are 2.5& BP, which is enough to help your problem without irritating your skin so much: Neutrogena On-The-Spot, and Clearasil.

if you want more, anything with Sulfer will help your skin, and that can be found in the Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask.

Both the Aspirin Mask and Tea Tree Oil are good suggestions. However, I have only been able to find Tea Tree Oil at health food stores, but I will go to safeway soon to see if maybe they carry it?

The Aspirin Mask, if you haven't already used it before...uncoated aspirin is the only thing that will work, you can find generics, but if you don't want go go reading labels looking for "uncoated", but some Bayer.

ive tried the aspirin mask before a while back, i dont know why i didnt think about using it for this...lol.

a friend of mine swears by clearasil

great advice solimar!

i use my facescrub (on that area only) more often, and i use lemon or grapefruit essential oils to kill the pimples.

Try not to touch your face! when you're washing your face try to avoid scrubbing it (that can irritate your skin) and try not to use cheap makeup that tends to make things worse.

Witch hazel and tea tree oil are life savers when it comes to spots!. Whenever I feel a spot coming up I tend to steam my face with a few drops of tea tree oil and it tends to do the trick, if that doesn't work then I use this little witch hazel stick I have and it dries it up in no time!.

Witch Hazel is awesome, but can be harsh on some skin types. Someone mentioned scrubs which help exfoliate, but the kind of scrub you use is of the most importance. A lot of people like the Apricot scrub, which can actually make acne worse since the exfoliant isn't a perfect round shape, but jagged, and can microscopically scrape and cut your skin causing more problems.

Anyway, I checked out CVS for tea tree oil, and though you can order it online, when I went to the store, they didn't carry it.

Another thing to consider is fish oil which has proven to be helpful from the inside out.

yes, I agree with CDA, try not to touch you face so much. And when you're on the phone-especially one that everyone uses at the office or at home-try not to let it touch your chin.....just a lil tip

It helps....

Another idea: clean your cell and telephone (phone at work too). When you rest them against your chin you are picking up Major germs. Get those clean up type wipes and use them often...

My dermatologist told me years ago that breakouts on the chin and jawline are usually hormonally driven. Aside from topical treatments you may want to consider going on the pill (if the problem is that severe).

i was at the store the other day and i picked up some clearsil acne wipes.

so we will see how those work. if not my friend swears by the clearsil ultra gel wash. and i have been cleaning my phone regularly. i totally forgot about that my mom used to remind me about it.

i do plan on going back on the pill as soon as possible.

I love those clearisil wipes - I converted my whole family to use them.

I've been breaking out like crazy this whole month - really badly, all on cheeks.

So, I tried thinking what could be the problem because I'm pretty good at my skincare routine and looking into products that could work - Solimar gave out really good recs.

But then those weren't working and thought it might be my makeup brushes, I cleaned my foundation brush every 2 days now. Nope - not it. Then - duh, my sleeping pillows. They didn't have cover slips and thought bacteria might be lingering there so I got some cover slips and no pimples this past week. Woop.

Always think back and try eliminating things you do that could cause pimples, like you just started cleaning the phone before using it is one step.

I got the Clearasil Ultra Acne Scrub and Clean & Clear Advantage Spot Treatment and OMG I love them. There you have two more products you might want to try.

If you get a lot of cystic acne on your chin then we are on the same boat. I used to get non stop cystic breakouts on my chin, not so much anymore though. SOme things I'd reccoomend are to take care of all the things that are causing them: oil, bacteria, and dead skin.

1.To kill any bacteria use an antibacterial cleanser I use Noxema triple clea n(orange and blue tube). I only wash my skin at night, washing 2x strips my skin of oil and makes it to dry.

2. Use a good exfoliator daily to take care of dead skin, I use st.ives every night.

3. Use a toner to wipe of excess oil and prevent future brakouts, I use avon correct and fade peel pads.

4. spot treat any existing acne with bp 10%, clearisil is the best.

I only do all these steps at night, in the moring I do steps

2,3, and step 4 is to use an oil free aha moisturizer like nuterogena healthy skin spf 15.
