with all the talk of trying to get some variety in hairstyles, i decided to straighten my hair. i worn it curly/kinky for about 2 years now so it took some work. had to go back to the old pressing comb. needless to say this is not a style i'll be wearing often, but it was fun for a few days. let me know what you think!

i think u look absolutely gorgeous! i can imagine you with your natural hair as well and i'm sure you look great either way.. so whatever is easier for you will do :icon_chee it's always fun to change up every so often though and i see it worked well for you.

thanks so much ladies. i can't believe that this was my regular style for years!

it really suits you well, such a pretty haircut too!!! :icon_smil

Isn't it amazing how much body our hair has when it's pressed as opposed to permanently straightened. I pressed mine for the holidays and everyone was amazed that it was shoulder length. I have horrible shrinkage! I use Kayvel products when I whip out the ol' pressing comb and curlers. Kayvel is a virtually dry/oil free press that leaves your hair bouncy. I'm able to "wrap" mine just as if it's permed, tie it up with a scarf at night, finger comb and go. You go Gurl!! Looks great.

thanks so much ladies. i'm glad i kept my pressing comb when i went natural. lol

Ok...I'm confused....oppps...to begin, your hair looks great!!!! What is the difference between a pressing comb and flat iron? Sorry...probably a stupid question, but I'm blonde and polish!
