i talked my dad into getting the glycolic acid for moi! =) and he's finally getting it!!! i hope it will give me good results and reduce my acne breakouts whoohoo! also, i have a consultation for microdermabrassion & laser treatments tomorrow!

UPDATE!!!

ok i had my consultation today... so far, i'll be doing 6 microdermabrassion treatments... she said that if i still have any red spots left, then that's when she'll use the laser treatment. my first treatment is this friday. and the whole 6 sessions will cost 750. =)

 
wow ... I wish i could spend 750 on my face! .. u have such an awesome dad!! Can u plz post pics after the treatments. I bet your skin is going to be radiant!!

but on a serious note, my acne scars are pretty bad, so this is something that i'm sick and tired of living with.

and yes, i'll post after treatment results, i'm praying that i will have great improvement on my skin. i'm actually thinking, if i'm still not satisfied with my skin, i'll have 6 more treaments.

i know what u mean about growing up w/acne. I had the same problem ... my entire family (mom, dad, cousin, grandparents) no1 had acne (well just minor ones) .. but for some reason .. my twin brother and my lil sister and me have terrible acne! (both body and face) . I couldn't wear Mu, couldn't cover it up ... don't know y, but now that i'm older my skin likes me more and my acne has realli calmed down ... (that and i take better care of my skin now than when i was younger)

yeah, now i know so much more about acne/skin but i'm still in search of something that will constantly work for me. it sucks having acne, people will clear skin can't even imagine. i wish i didn't have to worry about my skin all the time, that'd be awesome.

 
b4 MuT my acne was terrible. .. but as u can see from my pics .... it's not impossible to have great skin. I'm sure a lot of girls w/great skin out there started out w/rocky skin. I can't wait to see your results. I'm sure u will be realli happi w/it. I promise I had one of the worst cases of acne .. ..

anywho .. wish i could get my b/f to do some glycolic peels ... he said it looked too painfully cuz he saw how red my skin was and i was peeling everywhere the next day ... but it works ... and it's as painful as u might think

i'm getting glycolic acid as well, i think my dad has already oldered it, 30 ml of it(30%)... off ebay. i hope it'll work for me and won't break me out. did it break you out when you started using it? did ya notice the results right away?

 
yup .. definitely noticed the results the very next day .. .LoL ... my skin was peeling every1 and my face looked like a tomatoe b4 i went to bed. .. but u know what ... ? my skin is so smooth and all the bad skin is peeled away .... i mean peel as in lil flakes here and there, blackheads ... gone .... pores ... smaller ....

well my skin is naturally pinkish-redish anyway, so being red for a day or wtvr won't bother me. how often to you do the peel and how much % do you use?
