I'm kicking myself for only ordering one apparel and one shoe surprise.

I got a BB Dakota Edgemont Dress that fits like a dream.  I have no idea where I'm going to wear it, but I like it anyway.

I also got these Poetic License booties:

I haven't decided whether or not I'm keeping the boots but I'm stoked to have gotten such a high value pair.

I kind of hope that the rest of the Smalls sell out before my paycheck hits tomorrow or else I'm going to be tempted to buy a few more. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

You're the best person.  Unfortunately the "Order now" button has been pressed.  I swear I'm done now.

Guys, I have a problem.  Literally I got a dress from LOFT yesterday from my mom (it's adorable and work appropriate), and she's ordered me more clothing for my birthday.  I have to walk away from all these enabling threads.

I'm super tempted to direct my family to the stylish surprise because they've been asking me what I want for my birthday! But it's more practical to just ask them to chip in a little for a plane ticket to NYC because I'm planning on flying in for a weekend in July to go to a soccer match with a few friends who live in philly/jersey. I'd feel less bad about how excessive that would be if it were given the stamp of enabling from my family, since I've already bought myself a graduation trip for a weekend in Montreal for a music festival lol.

Birthdays are hard!  My mom always asks me what I want and I give her some guidelines and make her pick things out, and my dad sends me beer.  Oh!  And he sent me a plane ticket.  I kind of feel bad about buying more clothing, but at the same time, not, because I haven't been able to buy things for myself in a really long time, so it's nice to be a bit self-sufficient!

Yeah, I'm a really difficult person to buy things for lol, but my family/friends don't like to just give me gift cards or cash because they feel like it's cheating and makes them feel like they haven't made any effort. I could just buy a ticket myself, but I feel kind of weird about making weekend trips up north all the way from TX literally within less than 2 weeks of each other.

You guys!! I think I did REALLY well which means I will buy so many more next time!!!

Pulled this from Ebay -- it's Jessica Simpson and so gorgeous... there are pockets, so duh I loved it. PERFECT for vacation and weddings!

These Breckelle's Boots -- not TOTALLY my style, but for $10, these are great to have!!

And an orange blouse by YALosAngeles, but I cannot find it! It's sheer on top and flowy and perfection!

YAYYYY -- I never win these surprises!

I was on the fence with my surprises. But I made out pretty well. I got a dress that went originally for about $150. A green promdress that doesn't really fit and has glitter all over it $50 (I'm allergic to glitter) A gorgeous lace blue dress that is about 3 sizes too big. But my mom said she would fix it!! A pair of boots that don't fit but will HOPEFULLY fit my stepsister for her birthday. And I got a messed up tunic/dress but they refunded it and I think I can play around with it. If nothing else I'll have fun for an afternoon and then throw it away. A decent $40 spent.

And so I decided to get the Pam Breezely Tunic! I "need" a fancy shirt to wear over leggings for work. NOW I am finished shopping for myself.

Yeah, this happened to a couple of people. :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I got a partial refund (for one item out of five, I think?) after my second one shipped.

Nah, just hopefully the NYRB - Arsenal friendly that was announced. My friend is looking for tickets, the instant I know we have them I'm gonna book a flight lol. I'm a rabid Arsenal fan haha.

Oh man, hahaha... it's crazy but literally everyone I meet is an Arsenal fan. XD (I'm a Real Madrid fan) Hope you enjoy the match and Thierry Henry!

SO excited to get some of my surprises today! I have 3 apparels, 1 shoe, & 1 accessory coming.

I get done with work at 0700 & my mail usually comes right at 0900

GAH!

Service FedEx SmartPost Weight 4.3 lbs Total pieces 1

Hurry up!! That's almost 1 lb per item if the weights are correct. I'm DYING!

Mine updated to today yay! Boo that my mailman comes so late and I have two jobs. So I might have time to look that's it

Based on the weight, I'm pretty scared...I got 3 s apparel surprises, and a pair of jeggings/pants in m. It weighs in at 3.1 lbs, so I'm bummed out, because the pants probably weigh a little more than average. Was hoping for one of them to be a coat/jacket, but I really doubt that's happening, especially based on the box size. Hoping for a cute cardigan, a more conservative dress I can wear for teaching or two, and I can deal with a blouse as long as it's dressy/nice. Last time I got the solid version of the Hepcat dress in peach (which was a little small in the bust, and I'm not busty), and this rather short/low cut dress that had a nice pattern. The hepcat one had a defect, so they let me keep it with a refund. I haven't worn either yet. So please no summer/beach dresses or formal dresses, because I have more than I need of both!
