I have this long term acne which vanishes sometimes and comes again. Its gone now it it left some scars and spots! One of my cousin did this derma treatment from a doctor and she looks like all baby skin now.
I wanna know if it really helps as it seems to be?
This is more effective or hydra facials? Hydra facials is a new technique, its xpensive but very effective and more safe!
Im not looking for any home made or brand products for microdermabrasion. Im looking forward for an authentic treatment by a dermatologists. Any suggestions if its safe or any side effects?

Thnx

Microderm is great for exfoliating and making the skin soft and smooth, but I don't know that microderm alone will remove scars and spots.  Do you use tretinoin?  I'd be using Tretoin and doing chemical peels.

yes it does remove spots too bcoz it peels off the dead skin and so the spots with it.. I have seen the results on the web and one of my cousins had it and she has a baby skin now!! i think its worth having!

A cosmetic procedure in which all or part of the stratum corneum is removed by light abrasion, used to improve the appearance of sun-damaged skin, treat hyperpigmentation, and reduce or remove scars. It is more superficial than ordinary dermabrasion, does not require anesthesia, and can be performed in less than an hour. The person may resume ordinary daily activities immediately afterward. Microdermabrasion works best for superficial lesions such as fine lines and age spots; deeper lesions require other treatments.

Potential side effects of microdermabrasion are minimal and this is a very safe procedure. Potential drawbacks are very limited in that microderm only affects the epidermis, which is the outermost skin layer.

I've had microdermabraision quite a few times and I've always been happy with the results! The risk is minimal as long as you go to a reputable place! I got mine done by an esthetician.
