Alright to start off, I'm a guy(this seemed like the best beauty forum so who cares if its a girls forum ? x) , Secondly im from India if it matters ? Thirdly I live in Hawaii where it is very hot and always sunny... I use to live in new york, and I had really light skin back then, my skin was actually TOO light haha, but now that I moved to hawaii and have to spend a lot of time in the sun because of school, my skin has gotten WAYY to dark, I would love a nice tan but my skin color is not a nice tan, its really dark and I dont like it... I try to use spf 30 sunscreen every time I know ill be outside in the sun for a long time but my skin just isnt turning back lighter... What do you guys recommend ?

Thanks

SPF 30 is not enough SPF if you're in the sun for very long. SPF 85 or even SPF 100 are probably better for prolonged sun exposure. I like the sunscreens in the spray-type bottles, although I've had to stop using sunscreens with Chemical SPF because of acne issues. Most people have no problem, though, so I would say buy a spray sunscreen with the highest SPF you can find, then re-apply it every couple hours. Applying enough and re-applying are key in protecting skin from sun damage.
