The first 5 are After Pics - under flourescent lighting

The next 3 are after pics under natural lighting (early in the a.m. in the office, not much sun so kinda dark)

The last one is the before pic, with my natural color (growing out highlights, but you can't really see them at this angle)

I used ION cream haircolor and applied first to length and ends starting about 1" out from roots. Left on 15 minutes, then applied remaining to roots and waited another 15-20 minutes. I used medium golden brown and added a couple of little vials of "grey magic" recommended by the SA at Sally's. Did not shampoo directly afterwards, but conditioned about 1/2 hour with a single use packet that I bought at Sally's for .99. Sorry...don't remember the brand right now, but I'll post it later when I get home. I did was and condition my hair this a.m. with Nutrigena triple moisture treatment in the tub. I love the shine. Hubby likes it too....what do you ladies think? I doubt I'll ever pay for salon color again! I might try ash or neutral next time for fun....

I also used Ion Brialliance and I was really happy with it, the only thing is that It was a little lighter than I wanted. I used light golden brown, so I may go a little darker when I'm due which is in about 4 weeks.

It looks really good!

That does look really good. That's great you were able to find good alternative methods that are sooo inexpensive!

I love love the new hair color u look Fabalous It really brightens and warms your face.

Thanks! I was seriously considering medium ash brown because of my pale skin and blue eyes, which would mean I was cool coloring. Then I read somewhere that if you have freckles, that's an indication of warm coloring as are natural red highlights, which I have both of. So I went with the gold toned base which brought out more red. My complexion does have red undertones. Anyone here with similar skin/hair/eyes combo? It's so confusing!
