OK let's get this straight. I don't know ANYTHING about BB Cream, only that everybody loves it. Also, I'm light skin, never wear foundation (feel like a mask on my face, beurk!) and just discovered the magic of mineral powder as a replacement for foundation. I have oily skin and sometime a bit of acne.

1. I use Biotherm moisturizer everyday. Does BB Cream replace my moisturizer or should I put it after?

2. I read about Skin79. What's the difference between the Pink, Hot Pink and Gold?

3. Which one would you recommand for me, since I hate greasy product and foundation?

Thanks a lot for your respond!!! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Ok. But is this a foundation or a moisturizer? Shall it replace my Biotherm moisturizer? I looked everywhere, cannot find an answer to that question.

Yes... BB Creams have moisturizing ingredients in them, so you don't need an additional one if you're using a BB cream.  Its a one stop shop!

Hope that helps.

BTW - Its both - but if you want fuller coverage you can follow up the BB application with an additional foundation of your choice.

Biotherm is mineral thermal water based, it's in every product they make. Never fall for the idea that a foundation (BB cream) is as good or better for your skin than actual scientific skin care with specific ingredients. You need to stick with whatever skin regime you feel is best, then look for the right shade of "Beauty Balm" AKA BB Cream

Skin79 Pink Bottle has been my SAVIOR this summer!  It moisturizes, helps fight wrinkles, and has SPF.  I am in love and its only about $10 on Amazon.

Yeah I have the same thought. I might try the BB Cream since it's no expensive but I really like my skin care product and I've been using Biotherm since the past 6 years.

BB cream is its own unique product, so it's not a foundation, moisturizer, tinted moisturizer, or anything else.

I wouldn't skip your normal skincare at all because BB cream is makeup (even if it does have skincare benefits it is not meant to replace skincare.)

I've tried many BB creams and know the product well, I hope this helps!

I have an oily skin and previously i was using BB cream of Garnier ...although it didn't create ay problem for me but still its too greasy for oily skin but i think it will be good for dry skin...Now a days I am using BB cream of LO'Real and its quiet good for my oily skin... can somebody suggest any BB cream specially made for oily skin....

Formulations for skin types.

I was at Uwajimaya last night and bought the Absolute Total BB, normally I buy and use VIP Gold Super Plus because I don't like shimmer but they were sold out. The Total Absolute is for dry/combo skin, has SPF (37), has a whitening properties (and I never have seen any results of whitening in any Skin 79 BB cream I've used) and is for winkle improvement and has that shimmer in it. Essentially it's the same thing as VIP Gold except Gold has skin nourishing ingredients and doesn't have shimmer.

My suggestion is buy a Korean BB cream. They're so much better (western BBs are just rip offs that are no different than tinted moisturizers). I haven't bought a korean BB that was crap, but there are some I prefer. They're highly personal so I recommend you try a few. A lot of sellers will give you samples esp if you ask, and only buy from reputable sellers (with good ratings) and you should be fine.

Or in Cover Girl's case is nothing more than tinted moisturizer. ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Oh you're welcome! I wish other companies that made BB cream had similar charts but I've never seen any. If anyone know if there are similar charts out there and would post it that would be great.

I'm kind of regretting buying Skin 79's Absolute Total because of the shimmer in it. I just don't like shimmer.

The ingredients in the Absolute Total include (and not necessarily in this order) diamond powder, pearl powder, amethyst powder, coral powder , tourmaline, nephrite powder, ruby powder, amber powder, peach flow extract, apple flow extract, lime flower extract, orange flower extract, caviar extract, collagen, ginkgo, asparagus root extract and lots of other stuff. Oh and macadamia oil.

Are there any good bb creams meant for African American skin. They all make me look super pale.

LOL That's okay, all fixed. If it happens again Defensio might tag the posts as spam and start putting your posts in a mod hold so if that happens don't resubmit it again. A mod will validate the post for you. You can also PM me or email me if something like that does happen so I can take care of it.
