I have a dark complexion but I wanted

something different than the copper highlights

that every girl at my school has. Any suggestions

that aren't too extreme

How about just an allover color as I have found having highlights to be really drying....

I like the idea of bright red highlights, on dark brown/black hair.

Last year, I saw this pretty girl that had long hair.

The bottom 4-5 inches of her hair were bright pink, the rest was blond.

It was an eye catching look.

The red highlights would look awesome, but they will only stay flame red for about 5 days. That is what sucks about red! At least that is how it goes with my hair.

i started off with red highlights just in the front of my hair then i dyed the first half bright red.

it looks really awsome (i have black hair).

I'm going to do red highlights on my naturally dark hair too. I went the whole copper highlights all over route and it damaged my hair. It's mostly grown out now and I'm bored with it and I need to change it. I'm either going to do just red highlights or I'm going to do red and a medium brown. I'm' not too sure yet.
