This sponge has got a good reviews overall.I came across this sponge when I was googling about sea sponges. Here's their main website

http://www.konjacspongecompany.com/

I just had bought Clarisonic MIA few months ago, so far its ok with my skin( Im using it like 2x a week). It does not irritate my skin like any scrub will do, even the mildest or baking soda.Im kind of sceptical to increase the usage as some claimed certain skin type coudn't stand over buffing.

I wished I could have seen this konjac sponge earlier before Ive spent an arm and leg for Clarisonic lol!Anyone had used this before?

Why do you think the sponge would be better than your Clarisonic? It's not particularly eco friendly to import and export sponges if you take air miles and the bulk into consideration. For the same price you could purchase a pack of six organic muslin cloths from eBay which is more hygienic than a single sponge and exfoliates just as gently. All sponges encourage foam because of their open texture, we don't need foaming surfactants to clean our skins that is an advertising myth. Nor does our skin does need alkalinity it needs the protective acid mantle to be respected (baking soda scrubs are highly alkaline BTW).

Interesting product and you don't have to use any cleanser if you don't want to.  I like that charcoal one.  It looks interesting.  There is a drawback as it only lasts about 3 months so you'd be spending about $45 a year on that alone.  I'm not sure if its worth the constant replacement and care it requires - rinse it, hang it to dry etc.

Yes you are right Firefox, I guess this sponge requires more care than Clarisonic!Thank god u've opened my eyes!! I guess its all gimmick saying its buffing and polishing, I strongly believes that its no different than regular cellulose sponges or muslin clothes

Probably no different... but beauty product sellers are usually relying on the consumer's flight of fancy and buy their stuff just to try it out.  You got  your clarisonic and that thing is wicked so just stick with it.

Hi, I used to use Clarisonic MIA. However, after I started using Japanese Konjac Sponge brand - www.japanesekonjacsponge.com - I never used my Clarisonic anymore. I was first skeptical, but this brand Japanese Konjac Sponge is different from Konjac Sponge from Korea and China.

The Konjac Sponges from "My Konjac Sponge" and "Konjac Sponge Company" brands actually come from Korea, not from Japan. There are also many from China. They're different from the ones sold by this Japanese Konjac Sponge brand. Check out their website, they also give free shipping!
