:kopfkratz: Of thick highlights....

I wanted to dye my hair all bonde but im not doing that anymore...so i decided to do highlights but thicker ones so it shows alot more through the hair....i dont want those thin ones how they usually do it....

I know in europe they have different types of highlights....

So im wondering if they have it here.....if it can be done here....

i want them thick so it can be alot everywhere and still have some brown in my hair somewhere......you get me?.....lol.....

cool......how do they look?

This is the color my hair is at right now........the pictures on my profile...the hair color looks dark..beacuse of the light setting..my room is dark so it makes it look dark......So this is what it really looks like

And this is how i want it....light brown with blonde chunks.....i got this pic from a hair dresser.....that had dont this girls hair..

i think it could work

maybe try leavin the botttom layer darker and tell her to give you chunky highlights or panels of blonde allover somtimes its also called hair painting

Yes you can get them done. Be sure to bring a clear picture to your stylist however, it'll give her a visual idea of what style you are wanting to achieve. ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

They are also referred as streaks, but you can also call them thick highlights, chunky highlights, et cetera. Be sure to mention to her on how apparent you want the highlights to be, ie: more obvious, more subtle...

I've uploaded a few pictures for you. Personally, I have much respect for that rock n' roll two-toned streaks, but in opposition there's something I find sexier with color such as the ones Mary-Kate and Eva Longoria are styling.

i think it would be cool if you got panels of blonde

but in the middle layers not on the very top or bottom

so then you wouldnt have to worry as much about regrowth if you didnt want to upkeep it and putting it up ext, and you will still get the effect of lighter hair and having highlights on the top cause they will show through

Over here we call them splices. Whatever the terminology there is such a thing as "thick" highlights. Take in some photos to your hairdresser to give them a better idea of what you want. There have been some great examples already posted.

i refer to them as streaks :kopfkratz:

i think it can work but be sure you bring a pic of what you really want to achieve so your haidresser knows what you exactly mean.
