yup, computer screens emit small amounts of uv rays. even flourescent lighting emit uv rays but you should be ok unless your really sensitive to light. anyhow, you can always use makeup with SPF protection or consider fitting your monitor with a monitor anti-glare screen that can block out the uv rays.

While computer screens emit UV rays, I doubt it's substantial enough to cause wrinkles.

Clarins has just come out with an 'anti-aging' skincare line called Expertise 3p designed to protect us from technology's UV radiation.

Hmmm..sounds like a gimmick to me. I'll pass! :tocktock:

That's funny maybe I'll start wearing sunglasses while I'm in front of my computer

I should probably wearing a mask then lol, I spend too much time in front of the computer. good excuse to find another job, ehehe

My line does sell this. I've asked my clients if they like the Expertise 3p and they have given me nothing but positive feedback on it.

Most people use sunblock anyway, so I'm sure that is enough protection against whatever uv rays the monitor may be sending out.

Actually yes , even inside our house we should use sunscreen bec. our house contains a high UVA. U can search on that online by typing the difference between UVA/UVB

mm i wear anti-glare computer glasses since i sit here more or less the whole day.. but i never thought about wearing sunscreen, lol

Hi,

My eyeglasses are coated to prevent the glare from computers.

But I've never heard of needing sunscreen while sitting at a computer.

i don't think so. the computer does not give off uvb or uva. you should be wearing sunscreen through everyday. everytime you walk to your car or even being in the car your building sun damage. sun damage builds one on top of eachother. if you are in front of a screen you should massage your face a few times a day with your hands. (clean hands) to get the circulation going and you should try to walk around a bit. if your office has a gym. take 15 to 20 minutes from your luch break to just walk aroudn the walk path of the gym. or take a walk outside. im not saying to work up a sweat. just to manouver your body!!
