Is anyone concerned with the ingredients in their skin care and make up?

i'm very careful of what i put on my skin because it's quite sensitive and slightly acne prone. Ever since i started using EDM and seeing the minimal ingredients i've found it hard to use my old liquid foundation because of the amount of unnessecary stuff in it, i'm giving two nearly-full bottles away! As for skincare i always use products from lush because they have worked best for my skin and are also not full of ingredients i haven't even heard of.

I don't check either... I always get the product that works-regardless. But you havea point. On the other hand, I can't afford the more expensive makeup brands that are organic and safe.

Since I started on the Clear Skin Regimen almost 2 months ago, I've become really focused on ingredients that don't aggravate acne prone skin.

I switched to using mineral makeup and am feeling better about putting that on instead of all the crap I used before....and my skin has not had negative reactions to it.

I like making my own cleaning products, lotions, soaps, etc. It's nice to know EXACTLY what's in them! Hey...Melaleuca...I too love their products for my household...cuz they are safe! Most people never heard of them.

Yes I am not to worried about what I use now. Because my skin seems to be good now. I use coverfx creme, physicians formula mineral powder, and a mary kay, and the lise watier primer. It all seems to be going very welll with my skin so I dont take the time to notice the ingredient.

I am pregnant and I now have to look at every product I have very carefully. I can't use retinol or alpha-hydroxy or hair dye and a myriad of other products. My skin care regime is sparse, but I am dealing...I am using alot of Vitamin C stuff, but they are not doing as well as the high faluting creams and potions.

What exactly is the name (names) or the products coming from the rendering plants - I would like to know what to look for.

Interesting.

I barely really got into makeup - & I stopped using some brands because my skin started breaking out crazy. & I make sure to throw away anything once it starts to smell.

But this whole organic thing sounds great.

I'm also thinking of converting into Mineral MU. Once I get money, I'm hitting them stores in Frisco.

I am anal about my skincare ingredients. I have completely eliminated any unnatural skincare item I own. I now use essential oils and Carrier/massage oils.

yes, i try. for a long time, i wasn't too concerned about the ingredients, i just stopped using what wasn't working for me. but now, i definitely check the ingredients. i'm starting my collection of essentials oils and i just bought green clay, so i'm trying to buy more natural products.
