Ingrown hair-please help!

I use Braun silk epil also. I've been using it for almost 2 years now. I don't get ingrowns on my legs but I get all the time on my bikini area and armpits. I think this is because the hair is curlier in these areas. I've tried exfoliating and using salicylic acid containing products such as No Bump but nothing has helped. When I waxed I didn't have this problem but I switched to an epilator because after waxing I had to wait for the hair to grow out again befor I could wax again. With the epilator I can remove the hair as soon as it is visible.

I've been using an epilator for years. At first I did get a lot of ingrown hairs but now I hardly get any. I'm sure exfoliating would help though, as many have already said.

I heard you have to remove the hair with a tweezer to make it go away quicker.
