I'm an orange head , help me!

plz help,

i bleached my head, with this clairol bleaching kitt, an my head turned orange, how can I turned it to dark blonde:frown: ?

I think (don't quote me on this) that you didn't leave the bleach in long enough.

I'm sure someone here will give you more advice on this......

Dubsbelle is right, you didnt let your hair get all the way through the levels. Try a red-gold corrector to get out the orange. And if your hair is in good shape go ahead and dye it.

I would use some dye with a ash hue.

The ash color has blue pigments, that neutralizes the orange.

Don't know about the shade codes there, here in Brazil it would be 7.11 (7= medium blonde, 11 = ash tone )

I guess in USA it would be something like 7A

oh thanks for reply, well I thought i'll lighten up it again, but I have no clue for how long i should keep it on my head since it's already orange, i really can't sleep on it((((((((((((

so u mean no more bleach? just dye it with ash color? so which br5and do u guys suggest for my head and for red/gold corrector ?

If you decide to rebleach it, check it after about 15 minutes and then if thats not light enough, check after ever 5 minutes or so. You can get a corrector at a beauty supply store, there arent many brands to choose from normally.

What's your natural hair color? Because if its black to dark brown, you'll never get rid of the unwanted colors just by bleaching, unless you bleach all the way to a platinum blonde. If you have lighter hair it would depend of the hair base color (ash colors bleach to a beige/brown tone, dark or warm colors bleach to a orange, somethimes even red or yellow colors)

Be carefull because green neutralizes red, blue neutralizes the orange and violet neutralizes yellow. So if you try to neutralize yellow with a orange corrector you might end up with green hair (yellow+blue = green)

I wouldn't bleach the hair again unless if i wanted lighter hair.

Damn its hard to explain, the shade numbers are all different hahahah

But you can get a shade with ash (blue)+ violet this way you probably won't end up with green hair.
