Actually your dermatologist's advice is correct...you should stay away from the sunscreen and suntan lotions. They have been contrived and marketed as products to protect you from the sun, however it is best done by limiting time in direct sunlight. Vitamin D is derived from measured exposure to the sun and screens/blockers inhibit this. They also put chemicals into your body that can be dangerous. You do best taking a holistic, whole food approach-eat plant based foods, stay away from dairy and animal based proteins, sugars, and hydrolized oils, fats..and your skin will look great...and remember not to be in direct sunlight too long without some clothes coverings, hats etc..

I'm shocked that a derm would tell you not to use sunscreen. As an esthetician, I can not understand why a derm would say such a thing, unless there's something in the sunscreen which is causing you to have an irritation or allergic reaction to it. :scared:

As the other members on the board stated, please seek a 2nd opinion.

 
sorry girls i havent been on because im always tired after work now and yeaah i know how important it is to wear sunscreen thats why i was abit shocked i booked an appoinment with another derm and i will defently tell u what he says andd thank u so much for ur advice im not going to listen to her and im going to take ur advice and put sunscreen thank u once again and sorry for the long reply thats because i come back from work veryyyyyyyyyy tiredd

 
you must have went to the dermatologistfor a reason ??

I can only think that the reason you went

is the reason you were giving these instructions. !

 
i went to get rid of acne butt i feel that month ive beeen without suncreen and in australia we have summer now and i feel that my face is uneven and its got brown spots on it
