I want to go lighter.

i want to lighten my hair. but im not sure how much lighter. i thought about light brown to possibly a dark blonde.

i want your opinions and i also wanted to know color you guys think would look good...

I think your hair would look good lighter!! Were you thinking of just dyeing all your hair or getting highlights, or both? I think you could definitely do a light brown, and even the dark blonde would probably look good... maybe like a warmer shade like some caramel highlights in it or something too.

is your hair as dark as in your avi?? if so it makes it very difficult to lighten up with an all over colour......that's what my hairdresser told Justine

i wouldnt go much lighter if i were you.. reason is you just cut your hair, dont you want it to grow back healthy

i think brown with blond highlites would be better that way you dont have to worry about touch ups as often.. i agree with dentaldee going blonde may be difficult, it can be done but at what cost to the health of your hair

oh and she also said as it grows it's a pain in the butt b/c you'll have a dark strip down the center of your head

I agree with han..highlights maybe the way to go

just get more and more of them every so often if you want to get lighter as time goes by

i was thinking of lightening it a shade or 2 all over and then doing some highlights.
