Humectant Products?

Hi guys,

I have coloured, some what damaged, curly frizzy hair.

I am confused about humectant products.

Should I use hair care products that contain humectants, that might attract moisture?

Or will they attract moisture and make my hair even more frizzy - kind of like how humidity causes frizziness?

Umm, humectants work to attract water out the air to your hair... I've been using Nexxus Humectress conditioner and leave in. It works... But because I have locs they do dry out quickly. So I keep a spritz bottle in the bathroom with distilled water and veggie glycerine in it... It's like 90% water by volume... It really helps...
