How to make home hair color conditioner?

I once read this years ago and googled but couldn't find a recipe.

Have any of you tried mixing developer with conditioner for an at-home color depositing conditioner?

I never tried but it seems quite difficult considering oyu have to add susncreen to protect your color. Unless you're willing to wear a hair sunscreen after, but that's a more expensive option.

Developer only lifts color, so I don't see how it would do any good mixed with conditioner.
