i use Sebastian Potion 9. i love love that stuff, i couldnt live without it. it really helps my hair with the humidity, and keeping it the way its styled, and it just makes my hair look and feel better overall

The CHI flat iron is the only one that has ever worked for me. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> It keeps my hair straight-- spritz it with anti-frizz stuff, and straighten it, and its' great :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Once again, where the heck can you buy this stuff??? I can't find it anywhere, even places where they seem to have the whole HSH line.

When I straighten my hair, here's what I use for it to be silky soft and stay put:

First, I mist my hair with Bumble & Bumble Styling Spray. It's made to use before you blowdry/straighten your hair and protect it.

Next, I straighten in layers.

Then I finally add in some Bumble & Bumble Defrizz. It's a silicone based serum that locks hair in place while keeping it shiny and smooth.

This really works and my hair is straight even a day later! I tried many serums, sprays, etc. and I found that if it was just a tad humid, my hair would go crazy but not with this stuff!

Have you considered getting your hair chemically straightened? It lasts very long, but can be a bit expensive.

Well, in my never-ending search for this product, I went on their website and found that there is something called "Soy Smoothie". The website goes on to describe this as "Soy Smoothie Straighening Tonic" and says it smooths the hair. Then there is a picture of the bottle, and on the actual picture of the bottle it says "Soy Smoothie Bodifying Lotion"! Confusing, huh?

My beauty supply place that carrys the whole line says there is no product called Straightening Tonic, so that this must be it.

NY Angel, can you check your bottle at home and see what it says? My place is going to order Soy SMoothie for me, so I am hoping this is it. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Apparently satin pillowcases work really well in keeping your hair straight over night etc. I myself have straight-ish hair but Ive seen that after straightening and sleeping on it the pillow case does make a difference it also reduces the number of flyaways and frizzies.

:glasses:

I use Smooth & Seal from the StraightSexyHair line. It has worked great for my hair, which tends toward more towards 'wavy frizzy hag hair".
