So.... I know you're suppose to change the brush head every three months or so....but after the first three months, my brush head was still in very good condition, just lightly discolored from makeup residue....so I took it off the clarisonic, and soaked the head in a bleach-water solution over night....rinsed, and dried.
I use my mia2 twice a day, about 5-6 times a week. Pre-wash with my hands to remove makeup first, then clarisonic with a brightening cleanser. I don't pressure-press the brush against my skin....so the bristles don't get deformed...
I'm on month six now...and the bristles are still perfectly upright. I'm tempted to do a second bleaching and just keep using the brush head...but wanted to see if this was normal? Am I missing something here about how long these brush beads should/could last for?
