How do i get waves??

My hair is naturally curly, frizzy curls are everywhere, most people think its cute, i don't. I want my hair to be wavy, not curly, but i don't know how do it. usually i straighten my hair just bc it's easy to deal with, but when i curl it, i usually get it wet, put gel in it, turn my head upside down and use a diffuser. If someone could help me out, i just wanna see my hair wavy instead of curly.

gee that's a tough one. maybe straighten it before bed and then put it into a loose plait? that's all i can think of at the mo.

The only things I could think of would involve straightening it first...like pinksugar said straighten it and wear it braided overnight. You could also straighten it then wrap different sized sections around a large barrel curling iron. There are also those triple barrel irons; I love mine, but I know that a lot of people aren't fans of those.

I think Tiffany is right on track with the straightening and then using a triple barrel iron. Or try straightening and then using some larger rollers.

lol, rollers are not my thing. i have tried and tried and it just doesn't work. ill try using a triple barrel iron and see if that works. thank you!!
