i really want my hair like this.. i kind of want to try doing this at home but if is too difficult, i don't mind going to the salon.. what can i do to achieve this haircut?

looks like its basically dyed black.. and then bits of it bleached and a mix of red purple and blue put in random places??

that would be my guess!

its soo nice though, i love those colours. i'd take that picture into a salon and ask a hairdresser!

It looks like it was dyed black with just random red highlights all over. I wouldn't try this at home, there's too many processes in getting the red in black hair to do by yourself. Definitely take the picture to a hairdresser.

The cut is razored more in the crown and overdirected to blend with the back, so you don't end up mullety, the bangs are a sideswept bang, and are probably cut at an angle, and the sides are razored to frame the face. And if it were me I'd texture the ends.

Were I to recreate this look on a customer, I'd section off the top crown section and do the red foils in a diagonal going the direction of your bangs, and then add a few in the back/sides.

That being said, I don't think this is a do it yourself kind of cut or color.

mmm, ice cream.

awesome highlights and cut - post some pics if you go through with it!

i dyed my hair black tonight =) i will be going into my hairdresser for a consultation and then yay hair!

I really like that fringe, but mine would never stay like that, it always gets thin and greasy looking, lol. I can't have side bangs at all!

It's a cute hairstyle! My hair is far too fine to do such wild things to it! I would take a photo of this to your salon and ask your stylist if it's possible to create this or a similar look with your hair, work together and see what you can come up with! Best of luck and post piccies if you decide to go for it!

I love that style! I want my fringe like that but I'm at the awkward 'hair-in-eye' stage right now so I just clip it back. I think I might have to wait a bit longer for it to grow.
