My hair is fine and kinda on the thin side.. when it's straightened it's sleek and flat, but when I leave it alone (natural) it has some poof to it. It's slightly wavy. The only thing I do with my hair is straighten it, because it's the only thing I know how to do. I'm looking for a change. I'm very, very into curly styles or wavy, beachy styles.

I'd like to know how to get each of the styles in the attachments... particularly the first and the third. If you could list the steps and some recommended products, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you!

I would use a spray texturizer, like John Freida Ocean Waves, or Garnier Surf Spray. Then curl random pieces around a 1 - 1 1/2" barrel curling iron ... flip your head upside down, tousle w/ fingers, and spray with a light hold hairspray to set.
