Highlights: I'm gonna do it!!!

K, here isa picture of me - and my new hair cut...

My hair is ever so slightly lighter than that - just barely. I put like a tint - but my hair it hard to dye.

Anyways - here are some pic I found with what I like. Of course the combo will be a bit on the darker side. Just look at the color - I know my hair is short not LOL!

oooh ooh ooh! There is a brand, and darnt I cant remember the name. I think that it is by Loreal, It used to come with the hair dye and the highlight kit in one box. They had this beautiful brown dye and honey colored highlights. I wore that colo for a long time. If I find out the name, I will tell you.

Yeah, I'd go for it! A mixture of lighter brown and dark blonde honey highlights would look great on you. Just be sure they don't color it too light..I think that can look bad, ecspecially on dark hair. I recently discovered the foil method and it is way better than the cap! It's a little more expensive but worth it! Good luck! Post pics if you can.

be sure the color isn't too light. you don't need much highlights, just a few, and it's whoah ! i'd suggest a dark blonde, but i can't really tell, i never did highlights (i personnally think i have too much natural "blonde" highlights, lol).

I think it's an awesome idea, as long as you'll get it done by a professional (haha, I'm such a klutz I'd mess it up for sure )and if you don't mind the cost involved to keep up with it (man, those touch ups can be expensive over time!).

I have professional highlights and get my roots done every 6-8 weeks. Here's a pic of my hair down and then up in a bun. You can see my natural color (I like the dark panel underneath)

My hair is about 6" longer now than in my siggy pic.

I like Kelly Clarkson's hair better than Cheryl Crow. You'd look good with highlights!:rockwoot:

First I must say your hair is beautiful and looks in really good condition, you lucky thing! lol, secondly I got highlights done last thursady and I musts ay it is definitely the best thing I have ever done to my hair. I got honey coloured highlights on my light brown hair. My only worry would be not to get too light a colour in your hair as it is very obvious when it grows out, but if you really want to- go for it! I think it will look lovely, though I must say the colour of your hair at the moment is beautiful too!
