Here's a handy tip for ya!!

My daughter always uses her flat iron and rests it on the sink and it melts the rubber ring/gasket around the sink so.............I bought a silicone pot trivet........you know for the kitchen........anyway, that's what she lays it on now and it saves the counter top!!!

That is such a good idea!!! We actually use those, but I had NEVER thought of using it for the flat iron!!
